Don’t miss the fun at Heirisson Rotary’s 2016 Claisebrook Carnivale and Duck Derby for Telethon. These events combine a community fair and a rubber duck race (OK, plastic for purists!) with lots of fun and great things to see and do … and eat and drink!

The Carnivale is open to the public. Entry is Free! All the action starts at 10 am, finishing at 4 pm, on Sunday 20 March 2016 at beautiful Victoria Gardens overlooking Claisebrook Cove in East Perth (off Royal Street).

Mark your calendar now and don’t miss out on this Free Family Fun Day. There will be arts and crafts, market stalls, animals, rides, face-painting, live entertainment, fabulous food, loads of free activities for young and old …

Go Quackers with us!

There’s plenty to see and do before the ducks take a ‘swim’.

The corporate Duck Run will commence around 11 am, and the Long Table Lunch will be held from noon to 2 pm, as part of Eat, Drink, Perth 2016.

The Duck Derby will begin off Trafalgar Bridge early in the afternoon, around 2 pm.

Up to 10,000 plastic, numbered ducks dropped into the Claisebrook Inlet. They will then ‘swim’ towards the finish line where the first three ducks will be plucked from the water by a ‘Perthonality’ … and prizes valued around $10,000 will be declared.

Over the years these events have attracted up to 10,000 spectators annually from across the metropolitan area … to be a part of a unique fundraiser for worthy charities.
