The Claisebrook Carnival and Duck Derby is a community project of the Rotary Club of Heirisson and is part of “Eat Drink Perth 2012”. The event is on Sunday 25 March 2012 at Victoria Gardens, Claisebrook Cove, East Perth. This event incorporates both a Carnivale and a (plastic) Duck Race. The Carnivale is open to the public from 9.00am to 4.00pm. The Duck Race will be held early afternoon.

The Duck Race is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Heirisson and is a Telethon event.

The Carnivale will be held in Victoria Gardens, about 20 metres from where the duck races will be held. At the inaugural event in 2011, about 7,000 people came to the event. In 2012, we are anticipating even more.

The Duck Derby is sponsored by Channel 7 with heavy promotion on Channel 7, 6PR and in associated press in the lead up to the event.
